Why We Made the Healthy Color Duo
When we first released our Complete Systems, their intended use was to meet all of your hair color needs: achieving and maintaining your color, whether at home or on the road. These days, in the wake of COVID-19, travel is highly limited for many of us and supply chains across industries are strapped.
What’s a supply chain, you ask? Supply chain refers to the connection of every piece and material required to make a product come to life. Everything from the individual product ingredients, to the labels on the containers, to the parts of the containers themselves! For oVertone, one of the components in our supply chain —the caps on our sample size Daily Conditioners — is also an essential component for a much more vital supply chain: the healthcare industry. As it happens, those small caps are the same ones used in the production of hand sanitizers.
Once we discovered this commonality across supply chains, we made the swift decision to forfeit our product needs. Like you, we want to do everything we can to support the needs of the medical community and front line workers right now. It was an easy decision to make to temporarily halt our production of Sample Size Daily Conditioners.
As a solution to continue meeting your hair color and care needs, we’ve created a new bundle: the Healthy Hair Duo. It is available in every shade we offer, and contains both an 8 oz. Coloring Conditioner and 8 oz. Daily Conditioner — just like the Complete System, minus the 2 oz. travel-friendly Daily Conditioner.
While we don’t have a date for the return of Complete Systems, we hope you’ll welcome the Healthy Color Duo as part of your routine. When the time comes for Complete Systems to make a comeback, we’ll let you know (you can join our email list to get notified).
