Rose Gold Deep Treatment on Dark Blonde Hair

Rose gold hair in 15 minutes? Sure. Here’s how it’s done.

Start with clean platinum, blonde, or rose gold hair.

The darker the hair, the more warm and subtle your end result will be. You want it to be clean and not coated with any leave-in products, which can block the absorption of the conditioner. The easy way is to do it in the shower directly after shampooing – oVertone works on wet or dry hair. If you use it on dry hair, you’ll see a little extra saturation.

Rub the conditioner in with your fingers.

You want to ensure your hair is completely soaked with conditioner for even coverage! No dry spots here.

After 10-15 minutes, rinse completely – no need to shampoo.

After about 15 minutes, you won’t see any extra color saturation, but the emollients in the conditioner will continue to soften your hair. So unless you’re looking for extra conditioning, there’s no need to leave it on as long as you’d leave on a dye.

That’s it! Repeat whenever your hair feels faded or dry.

Loved using this deep conditioning treatment, I had recently dyed my hair a light brown ombre with rose gold ends and was so sad at how quickly the rose faded, after 1 wash I was searching for some help and came across Overtone. Elated that they had the color I needed I purchased the deep conditioning treatment and was not disappointed. My hair looks and feels awesome! Will continue to purchase 😁

For medium to dark blonde, should I get the regular deep treatment or the “for brown hair” treatment?

    Hi Michelle,

That depends on your exact starting shade and the color you’re wanting to achieve. For the best advice, send an email with a picture of your current hair with lots of natural light and no filters along with an inspo pic over to our Color Consultants at hi@overtone.co or get in touch with them here: https://overtone.co/pages/contact-the-unicorns and they will totally help you out!
