Subtle color, but the vibes are *immaculate*. @annikawhite really went all out with this modernized throwback look. Sometimes all you need is perfectly face-framing bangs and a whisper of rose gold to upgrade your look. Want to know how they did it? It’s easy as 1-2-3…well…a few more steps than that, but you get what we mean. Anyway, here’s the how-to!
What you’ll need:
• oVertone Coloring Conditioner in Rose Gold
• 4-6 hair clips of your choice
• medium barrel round brush
• 2 medium-sized velcro roller
• blow dryer
• optional: Gloves (they come with every order!)
On dry hair, section off your bangs from the rest of your hair and clip away, leaving bangs out. This will ensure that only your bangs are colored, and minimize opportunity for color transfer.
Starting just above the ear, take small 1×1 square sections of hair and apply the Coloring Conditioner, making sure to fully saturate every hair strand for best coverage. Twist and wrap each strand into a circular shape to keep it out of the way as you work your way to the next section.
Continue step two until all bang hair is fully saturated with color.
Wait 10-15 minutes (or more! it’s non-damaging) and rinse hair thoroughly with warm water until water runs clear.
Rough dry hair until 75-80% dry
Using your round brush, begin brushing bangs straight downward toward your nose and curling hair away from face.
While hair is still warm from dryer, make a middle part and divide bangs into two sections. Starting at the bottom of one section, roll one velcro roller, going away from the face. Clip in place if desire. Repeat on other section.
Once hair is cool, spritz with your favorite holding mist and remove rollers. Brush through bangs to loosen wave. Separate bangs with fingers and a texture pomade for a piecy look. That’s it! Want to get the look? Grab a Rose Gold and get started right now.
